Safety Hubber Needle

•Huber needles come in various diameters, with the gauge (G) indicating the needle’s thickness.

•Common gauges: 19G, 20G, 22G, and 24G are used.

•A higher gauge number means a smaller, thinner needle, while a lower number indicates a thicker needle

Safety Mechanism: After use, the needle is retracted into a protective housing, which covers the sharp point and prevents injury.

Securement: The needle is secured to the skin with an Occlusive Dressing.
