Mechanical Engineering

Role & responsibilities

• Be involved in the design process. 
• Bring designs to life. After a design is completed by a product designer, you will take it and make sure the engineering part is designed according to the requirements. 
• Work together with our design-, software- and hardware engineers to make prototypes, test and improve products.  
• Test a finished prototype and check whether it meets the requirements of the client and our company standards of usability and quality.
• After prototype approval you take the product to mass production. This involves communication with our injection molding factory, electrical design department, assembly-factory and certification partners. You will monitor the product quality and planning.
• Besides developing new products, you will also analyze and improve current products. 

Preferred candidate profile

• Being curious and interested in new technologies/developments.
• Project management.
• Experience in preferably Autodesk Inventor (or SolidWorks).
• Basic knowledge of materials.
• Experience with plastics and injection molding is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical circuits.
• English language, preferably Dutch as well. Mandarin is a bonus. 
• Eagerness to learn about new materials and production techniques to create innovative and cost-effective products.
